Sian sian sian...last day is afternoon shift..haiz hafta do admission...but today i find my patient cute because she only have a draw sheet to cover her and beneath it she was not wearing anything...hahaha but i m not pervert horx...wendy also find that patient cute....Fri we meeting our mentor at Mac just to use up the $4 for the class gathering but haiz...i wan kfc and pizza.....especially pizza....PIZZA PIZZA PIZZA~anyway see ya all on fri...do we really have to take photo again?mmm....

Yeah! last week of attachment ending soon.. so happy and tired at the same time.. Cant believe we have to work like this for the rest of our life.. haha! See u all on fri..

so many stories about attachment to tell.. like irritating patients and stupid arrogant doctors..
plus some of our ward staff (esp. the 'superwoman')... but whatever who cares.. we are leaving soon
however i muz say my sister shirley is so nice.. thks to her we have lesser nagging..
i really hope she pass all of us.. so we can graduate together..

To be truthful, i dont want to spend the whole day insch on 1st feb.. sounds tiring to me.. i rather be in the ward.. haiz maybe im too lazy to go to sch.. haiz.. but keep us inform1st feb have to be in sch at what time if any1 knows..

Left two more wks le..yeah...i hope nothing will happen next week cos our CI told wendy that we will know whether we pass or fail on the last week....haiz...so long...faster rate us so we can work peacefully...hahaha anyway so excited about setting plugs...next wed going for uniform fitting le but i dun really like the colour...haiz i think the old uniform nicer lo...why must they change when its our batch to go in, so not fair, everything change at our yr....Talking abt ward i m so scared of getting TB becos our ward got so many TB cases...somemore is after we have direct contact with them for a few days then the lab call and say that the pt have TB...arr....i think i will get TB sooner or later...Mmmm chinese new yr is coming le...but so sianz...have to clean up my whole hse...so many useless stuff laying ard my hse but cannot throw arrh, surely will clean the hse till the clock tick to 12....A job A job...haiz i was hoping to find a job after the attachment instead of staying at home and grow fatter...but so lazy...dun knoe where to find also...Oh yar,ytd i went to ICU ward...that place dun look like what i have imagined or remembered it is...in my mind i imagined a circular room with many small rooms, the nurses counter is at the center and the whole ward is dim but ytd's experience prove mi wrong....in fact the whole ward is rectagular with many rooms(of cos) the nurses counter is at the center but it was big and occupied so much space....haiz...after seeing it...i dun knoe whether i still wan to work there...nvm anyway we still dun knoe when we will be posted to...so mmmm....hahaha see ya...

yesterday ruby and i went out together to bugis to shop, actually i wanted to de stress la.. so touched, she change shift to accompany me. hee. love u ruby!
sister did another mini chat session on thurs again, it all seem so wierd that sister suddenly sounded so nice and caring towards us, asking us how we are..if the ward is too stressful..consoling us..blah blah blah. i was like the opposite when we are in the ward la. she was telling us of this nee ann student who is super efficient, can do all the junior work and SN work and still have time to help sister check case notes(now is the JCIA period). she kept harping on her and say that she knows that everyone is different that she dosen't expect us to be like her...but if she keeps harping on it dosen't it mean she wants us to do the same? hmm. whatever.. its the last 2 wks already..YEAH!! oh. she also asked us whether we feel like the ward is our second home..i was like "NO!", but the others were nodding their heads...den i look at them like 'huh?'.........ok...er. just smile.hee. den she ask u all want to come back to work in the ward? my ans was No! haha. den she say: 'never mind.. i noe u don want to come back because of sister (her name) right?' and added ' wait till you go other wards which are worse..' i was like no comments. i have mixed feelings about this sister la. outside work she is like super nice and caring and i quite like that side of her. but in the ward she will just scream at you at every little thing like not pulling the curtain during doctor's rounds and not keeping the curtains back after the doctor examine the pt. and this is her favourite phrase apparently: ' it is not that i want to nag, but you see la.. all this little little thing i also must say. u say la i don nag can or not....' -.- if i can memorize it, u can imagine how many times i heard that already.. but i can tell u that even if you do everything nicely, she will forever have something to say like 'how come the pt's locker got so many things on top??' 'you must help to keep the things in the drawer...help the pt tidy up.' haiz.. get the feeling? i admit i'm pretty sensitive, her words really perieces thru me, i cant help but feel stupid at times...and fearful of her.

i will be on night this coming week with yan chang. ruby told me she saw a female ghost in the ward fly past her during her night in one of the cubicles. she was so scared that she went to check on the patients during the parameter round to check that they not posessed by the ghost. haha. so funny. but it is creepy sia. i hope i don see anyhting!!! i will pray hard on sunday. hee.

Congrats to everyone!!! There is still 9more days to go, not counting Feb 1 cos going back to school. Haiz, cant wait for this dame long attachment to be over. It's like taking forever. Yesterday, Ms Joelle asked us whether the attachment is long. Of course it's long, THE.. Some more, i was the only one who said that, the rest of them say it's okay?! Omg, I never thought they like it so much. Most of them must be bluffing. After a talk by Ms Joelle, a mini mass casualty happened. Suddenly the CC area was packed with doctors and SN.. Hmmmm. One of the A&E doctor was so angry because the doctors who came just see the patient and ordered scan for everyone and walked off. She was telling us about it and we cant stop laughing at it. 16patients were sent to SGH, the rest went to other hospitals. Since there is shortage of SN, the sister put three students in charge of all the mass patient!!! I was so dame busy, kept running up and down for Doctor to review the patients. Some more, all the mass patient are from Bangladesh, like we can understand what their pain score is. haiz. Luckily one Sn came to our rescue, so grateful to her.
Today, kena posted to OT/Ortho. Then the nurse put me in charge of OT, done tons of dressing and operation. I hate it when there is two cases, hafta run side by side. Luckily Amanda came to help me, but i think she kena scolding by the doctor cos the doctor asked me to help him instead. hmmm. Anyway, not many OT cases today but A&E have been ODDing to Ortho causing Dr. jonah (ortho doctor) to call for help. He even asked me whether i showered this morning. of course i did, THE. He keep complaining to me like i can help him. I saw Dr. Anthony and two more others inside. Good luck to him since he hafta work till the next morning. haha. He was so angry when i said goodbye to him. =p
I asked Ms Joelle today whether Feb1st is just awhile or long. She said it's going to be WHOLE DAY!!! And they are still thinking about activities for us to play. ZZZ. ok.

Chinese new year coming, can i go to each of your house to take 'HongBao'???? Cause I dun think I'm going back to Malaysia...=( no money... I need money!!!!

Miss school life... working out there is so tough.. so many things to learn..
2 months of attachment passed but it seems to me i still have loads od things tt i dont noe yet..
Haiz.. haven been able to manage 1 cubicle.. Think life will be tough after i graduate..
Hope my last 3 weeks goes well for me and train me into a real tough person so that i can become a super stress resisteant staff nurse.. HAHA!

hope everyone is coping well...
i'm already very tired of going to work already..haha. 3 more weeks!!! yeah!
sister expect us to manage a team in the last 2 weeks.. yesterday sister talked to us, and told us that we must finist our work before we leave..that it is ok to leave later then 3pm. she also said that when we pass out as staff nurses, we have a heavy responsibility, that sometimes u cant even sleep at night.. at that point of time, i was thinking.. some nights i also cant sleep, when taking cases, den if become SN will be worse la!!! haha. i think i think too much sometimes la.. so afraid of not doing my best sometimes, haha. anyway, i was eating breakfast with my sister(jie jie) this morning, and was thinking whether i should quit nursing after the bond..ha. i don regret having the bond la, but i am starting to dislike doing all the paper work. its like nursing the papers then the patients..agree? haha. i miss those days as a yr 1 and yr 2 when we still had the time to chit chat with the patients..maybe i might work as something eles next time..hee. at a nursing home perhaps? hee.
its running late already..1125! oops. should be bathing now.. ha. got to run! bye guys, see u all soon!

oh. ruby says there is some talk on being a staff nurse on the 19 jan . have to check with her again..

yeah!!! tonight is my last night.. can't wait for tomorrow and I'll be free.. hee..
I'm so tired now, dun really like working in at night cos it's really very busy in A&E.. i think all the patient have nothing else to do, so they just register in.. Just the start of my night, one of the patient scolded a "F" on staff nurse keekee... She was so mad and just stared at the patient.. haiz.. I think most of the patients are difficult, keep calling for us as if we are not busy.. When we dun attend them, they lodge a complaint... really nothing better to do...there is even one weird case-- this patient is about 50++ yrs old, he called out to one of the sn and told him that he is the relative of professor XXX so he can see the doctor earlier... zzz.. The sn just walk away, and told me to stay away from that patient.. haiz.. The busy hour went on till 6am in the morning. but something happened during 4.30++am... the sn told me to tell Dr. robin that one of his patient's paracet. is 136.. so i went to tell him then he asked whether the patient went to KKH... like i know cos this patient of his is in CC but I'm from Observation.. So i just told him i duno...then he started scolding me for not knowing the patient well.. Luckily there were two sn there and they told him that the patient is not under my care so how would i know... Haiz.. stupid robin.. dun look like a man, talk like a gal, everyday PMS.. all the sn was telling me not to mind him cos he is always like this... haiz.. I cant imagine the next time i work with him... surely will argue with him...

It feels like this blog is rotting soon. It has been ages since i blogged, can't help it because no idea on what to blog. haha. Tomorrow doing night shift so i have the time to blog awhile now. hmmm. how to start...hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm......okok...

Today, i was posted to resus area, one place which i hate most because anything could happen. Patient maybe well at one time and the next minute, he collapsed in front of you. haiz. well, nothing happened during afternoon until when I'm about to off duty. This patient just came in and he was confused, kept moving about and the doctor was having difficulty drawing blood. So, i tied him up to prevent him from moving. the next minute, the doctor say, 'patient has collapsed. do CPR now.' I was like in dazed and 'huh?'... Luckily there were three staff nurse beside, so i just stand by the side and see what they are doing. Then one of the sn asked me to draw out two ampule of adrenaline, i was shaking while drawing out. Haiz. But they acted very fast and luckily the doctors are able to 'self-service'. haha. After awhile they stopped CPR and bring in a ultrasound to check on his stomach?? i think so. So, the sn and me took out all his property and guess what. there is two thousand dollars note!!!! about 3 hundred dollar note, and couples of 50, 10 and 2 dollars note. Dame rich sia. just after when we finished counting the property, he collapsed again. this time, all the doctors do the job cause there were about 5to6 doctors around. So the sn standby only. cool. i have no idea what happened to the patient after that cause my sn asked me to go home so not able to see what happened. Maybe i will ask them tomorrow night.

hmmmm... been slacking around lately, watched tons of new animes. still going for more. there is one which i recommend strongly---- ghost hunt. For those who like horror or mystery thing, this is one anime you MUST watched.

Oooo. by the way, sister told me that the fall of the patient wont affect my attachment results....I'm soooo happy and grateful to him. But because of this accident, whenever Dr. Loh (doctor of that patient who fell) see me, he will say, 'be careful, don't let patient fall'. ok~~~. Some more today, he kept finding business for me. luckily, I'm in resus or else i will be his slave. haha. okok. enough of blogging. tata everyone....=p
